A New Beautiful Week- Book Picks for May 15th-May 22nd

Good Day My Wonderful Friends! I hope you had a glorious weekend, and did something special to honor your mum, or if you are a mum were honored in some way. It’s a beautiful day here, sit with me here on my patio, and let’s chat a bit about one of my favorite things- books. While you’re fixing up your drink, coffee or tea, whichever you prefer, let me tell you about this great book I just read. It’s To Tame the Wind by Regan Walker. I loved this book! It crosses genres, and I would call it Historical Fiction Regency. It had everything you could possibly want in a thrilling love story- action, adventure, drama, sweet romance, interesting and engaging characters especially the two main characters Simon Powell and Claire Donet, and pirates- okay now privateers who formerly were pirates. The story begins when English Captain Powell’s ship and crew are taken by French pirate Jean Donet. So to get his ship back, Powell abducts Donet’s young daughter until his ship and crew are returned to him. Thus our story begins, but that is only the beginning. What a wonderful and entertaining read, and I loved the ending! Now I have to read the other books in this series to find out what happens next. I plan to read more of Regan’s books. To Tame the Wind by Regan Walker

This next thing I want to share with you, is a carousel that was made for me by Anita Rodgers to represent the many faces of Bobbie- and all of my alter egos. I adore it!
